This is me. Disappointing specimen.
This is my boy, John David the Third--Trey for short (and has been since five hours before birth--my family knew that if they didn't come up with a nickname that satisfied me, they'd end up calling him by my suggestion, which was "Three").
Not so disappointing. Vocabulary of about 50 words (mostly variations on "mine!"). Knows "go fast, Trey" and "yee-HAW!" Knows the difference between a "bah-ee" (such as what he's holding) and a "bhat" (which are my pet rats Dorothea and Gordia). Knows what "maows" are (and drives those belonging to my mother crazy). Plays the harmonica. Dances. Frequently does both at the same time. Owns a horse (plastic, but still...) named "Co-co." Rides it well, with his mother and grandmother trying to avoid heart attacks watching him.
My wife also has a GeoCities site, devoted to genealogy and research along those lines. You can check it out at her place:
Oh, yeah. Homyakchik is sort of b*st*rd Russian. You can look it up. Closest I and my Russian Teacher could come to my nickname in STAPA.
